SOHCN Phase 1 bidding process is proceeding smoothly

Dear SOHCN Site Contacts,

The SOHCN Phase 1 bidding process is proceeding smoothly. Two of the competitors requested extensions, so the new due date is May 26. On May 28 and 29, we are holding a scoring retreat to review the responses. We are hoping that we will have a tentative winner at the end of the two-day intensive. The five-person RFP scoring team draws technical and business expertise from:

  • Adena Health System
  • Holzer Health Systems
  • O'Bleness Health System
  • Ohio University Office of Information Technology
  • Ohio Academic Resources Network (OARnet)

After the scoring retreat, we will enter into a period of contract negotiations to finalize the terms, conditions and pricing with the winning bidder(s). We're not sure how long it will take to complete this step, but our hope is to have definitive news to all of you by the end of June.

Thanks,
Tom
